A TRIBUTE TO THE FEMALE ATHLETE
The female athlete intelligent, beautiful, and strong; in the past has been in an environment dominated by their male counterparts. For so many years of neglect their time has finally come, for respect. They play for the love of the game, always working twice as hard for so little. Now it is time for compensation and acknowledgement that is due for the female athlete's achievements.
In the mainstream of things, you do not have to be a female athlete to appreciate being respected. With the female stars out there now, let’s not forget about the female stars of the past; for they have paved the way for todays' female athlete - both young and old.
